Information about your Personal Success Plan

The Personal Success Plan is Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centres way of making sure our members who are of all levels are set up for success in the gym. We want our members to be confident moving their way around the gym and being comfortable in the new surrounding which is the Oak Park Sport and Aquatic Centre. This safe start to your fitness goals is made up of three different sessions, all aimed to give you the tools to be able to succeed by yourself. The sessions are;

Planning Session – 60 minutes
Week 1
We want you to start your health club journey with confidence, support and with a clear path to achieving results. In the planning session your trainer will help define your goals and take your baseline measurements using our Evolt 360 body composition scanner. The trainer will get you set up on the application and more information about the body scanner can be found at
The scanner will be used as a tool to help for the trainer develop a program based around your goals and measurements. We will spend time talking about your normal week, try and find a few realistic time to consistently attend the gym which can include group fitness classes, swimming or a gym program based around your goals and needs. Your trainer will guide you through your personal success plan and demonstrating the technique and benefits of each exercise.

Program Check – 30 minutes
week 4
This session is here to keep you on track, slightly adjust your gym program and review your regular week as well as your goals. In this session we will provide you with a personal training experience and consolidate your technique and finalise your program for the next 8 week period. This is to help you move forward and keep you feeling confident and motivated throughout your fitness Journey.

Program Check – 45 to 60 Minutes.
Week 12
This is where we remeasure, re-test, evaluate goals, tweak or change your program according to your progress and your goals. Without change, however small your results can plateau and this is something we are passionate about avoiding for our gym members. Your program review and program update is available every 12 weeks and works on an ongoing basis, that way we are continuing to assist your progression and ensuring that your motivation, confidence and passion are assisting your goals.
